Reality Fracture Products: Which MTG Reality Fracture Box to Buy

For Reality Fracture, buy Play Boosters or a Play Booster box to play and draft, a Bundle or the new Secret Lair Bundle as a gift, Collector Boosters for foils and rare treatments, and Draft Night for a four-player draft at home. Commander players add the Multiverse Reforged deck. The set released October 2, 2026, and is legal in Standard.

What Reality Fracture is about

Reality Fracture is the Magic set released on October 2, 2026, in which Jace Beleren remakes the Multiverse into his own mirrored reality, the Echoverse. Wizards’ tagline for it is “Jace’s solution. Everyone’s problem.” The set’s signature mechanic on the product side is echoed pairs: two cards of the same rarity, one showing a familiar character and one showing their Echoverse double.

The main set (code FRA) has 71 common, 109 uncommon, 64 rare and 26 mythic rare cards, plus 10 common dual lands and 10 basic lands. Reality Fracture Commander (FRC) adds 16 rare and 2 mythic rare new cards.

Wizards lists FRA as legal in all formats, including Standard. The FRC Commander cards and the Special Guests cards (SPG) are legal in Commander, Legacy and Vintage, and in other formats where those cards were already legal. Cards from FRA and SPG opened in Play Boosters can be used in Reality Fracture drafts and sealed play.

The rare cards to look for in Reality Fracture

Reality Fracture’s rare treatments are spread across the pack types, so the pack you buy decides what you can find:

• Shattered mirror cards show an alternate version of a famous card. Non-foil versions appear in Play and Collector Boosters; facet foil versions only in Collector Boosters, with about 6,000 copies of each rare and 3,000 of each mythic rare.
• The serialized Bloodline Recollector is the headliner: 500 numbered double rainbow foil copies with art by Mark Poole, illustrator of the original Ancestral Recall, in less than 1% of Collector Boosters.
• Special Guests are 10 cards by Marina Banker that join into one panorama. Non-foil versions come in Play Boosters and foils in Collector Boosters.
• Japan Showcase cards are 10 cards with art inspired by Japanese hobby shops, found only in Collector Boosters.

Some of these cards print in English only, whatever the language of the pack. The serialized Bloodline Recollector and the facet foil shattered mirror cards are always English.

Reality Fracture for Commander players

Commander players have two Reality Fracture products made for them. The Multiverse Reforged deck is a four-color, ready-to-play 100-card deck led by Jace, with two traditional foil borderless commanders and 16 new-to-Magic cards; Wizards aims it at players who want “a more intricate approach.” Play Boosters then add legendary creatures and echoed pairs to existing decks.

Drafting Reality Fracture at home
